Women’s Health/Family Planning:
This program offers physicals to include breast exams, pap smears, and evaluations for and the providing of contraceptive methods of birth control.
Perinatal Case Management:
This is a non-clinical service which assists pregnant women with accessing Medicaid coverage, finding a prenatal care provider, nutrition services, and other needed services.
This program is to help reduce infant mortality and maternal and infant morbidity.
Building Blocks for Babies:
The Richmond County Health Department’s Building Blocks for Baby program is designed to improve birth outcomes by increasing access to appropriate prenatal care, preventative care, case managers, and home visitation. Click here for more information about this program.
