In anticipation of the upcoming winter storm expected on Friday, Governor Kemp has issued the following statement: “In coordination with @GeorgiaEMAHS, other state and local leaders, and @NWS guidance, state offices within affected areas north of and including Columbus, Macon and Augusta will be closed on Friday, January 10, and the employees working remotely as they continue to serve their fellow Georgians.”
The counties in our district affected by this directive include Richmond, Columbia, McDuffie, Lincoln, Warren, Taliaferro, Jefferson, and Wilkes.
